Achieve academic development
College is often regarded as one of the most important and enjoyable times of anyone’s life. Most college graduates look back at their time as an undergrad and remember all the fond memories they had and the people they met. That is especially true for anyone who studies abroad during their college years.
Studying in a different country will help you grow both personally and academically. By studying abroad, you can:
- Practice your language skills
- Experience a different learning style
- Visit new places
- Meet international students
- Improve your resume
- Become more confident
Stepping out of your safe place can help you become a much more confident person and help you become better in so many ways. There are a wide variety of industries that look for people who are not only well-traveled, but can also speak multiple languages.
Studying abroad allows you to immerse yourself in a new culture and language, which can help you develop skills that will serve you well in your future career. It also allows you to form connections with people from around the world and helps you prepare for an increasingly global workforce.
We offer placement in some of the most interesting places around the world, which will motivate you to study hard and achieve something memorable during your time away from home.
You can study abroad and come back ready for success because we're here to help you make sure your time away from home is worth it: we'll help you find the best school for your needs; connect you with other students in similar situations; provide you with resources on how to succeed academically while experiencing new cultures, and even assist you with job placement once you graduate!
Immerse yourself in the language and culture
Our program is designed to get you out of your comfort zone and into your future. Our immersive programs are taught entirely in the target language, which means that by the time you graduate, you'll be speaking fluently. Not only that—you'll have an understanding of the local culture and customs that will make you stand out in any job interview.
Many students face a barrier when it comes to learning a language. There is no better way to break that barrier than to move abroad.
Have you always had an interest in learning French, Spanish, Portuguese, or any other language?
Now is your chance to take a huge step in achieving that goal. You could sit in a classroom for hundreds of hours during your 4 or 5 years at college, but that wouldn’t compare to a semester abroad in another country.
When you are surrounded by the target language morning, afternoon, and evening, it becomes impossible to NOT pick up the language quickly.
Apart from gaining the ability to speak a new language, you will also be living in and learning about a completely different culture from your own.
There are so many positives to embracing another culture, such as:
- Improving your self-esteem
- Gaining a new outlook on life
- Becoming a better communicator
- Growing your professional and personal network
It’s never easy to step out of your comfort zone, but taking on the challenge to study abroad offers you an enriching experience. You will improve your outlook on life, become more sociable, learn new things you can’t learn at home, and meet new people.
For those reasons, it will be a huge positive for you to dive right into a study abroad experience and become a much more well-rounded individual.

Frequently asked questions
One of the biggest concerns students have when coming abroad is figuring out where they will live. However, there is no need to worry about this detail. We can offer you different options regarding where you will be residing in a different country.
The options include living with a native family (which will greatly help your language skills), living in a dormitory, or you can opt to find a shared apartment to live in.
Preparing yourself to study abroad is completely different from going on vacation to another country with family or friends. You’ll need to make sure you have everything ready by the time you walk out of your home to the airport.
You must ensure you have:
- Chosen the amount of time you will be studying abroad, whether it be for half a semester, a full semester, or even an entire academic year.
- Selected where you are going to study.
- Established what type of residence you will be living in and have it ready for your arrival.
- Received your residence permit. You will need a student visa, especially if you are going to stay longer than 90 days.
- Booked travel arrangements. You should have your flight planned for when everything is set up in the country you will be studying abroad.
The amount of money it costs for your study abroad experience will depend on various factors. Where you choose to study, where you choose to live, and what type of flight you book will all be important factors when paying for your academic time abroad.
For example, if you feel you or your family should be on a budget, a homestay would be a smarter choice than staying in an apartment downtown.
Well before you step foot on an airplane to your destination, you’ll need to ensure you have a few things first. Requirements can vary depending on the study abroad program you decide to join.
Typically, you will need an up-to-date passport. If you don’t have one, you can present your birth certificate at a government office that issues passports to obtain one. Then you can work on getting a student visa if necessary.
Technically, you don’t need to have any level of language before you begin your study abroad experience. However, that doesn’t mean you should land in Italy, France, etc. without any knowledge of the language.
It’s best to start preparing and at least have a basic understanding of the language so that you can ask for directions, understand amounts of money, or say your name and express likes and dislikes.
In no time, you’ll see that you’ll be an expert in the language.
